Winter & Summer Camp Opportunities @ Faith
Camp Opportunities at Faith Church
Faith Church recognizes that teens need an opportunity to grow their own faith. So, we encourage all our teens (ages 14-18) that are still in high school to take some time either in the winter, summer or both to get away and stretch their faith through these Christian based youth camps.
Faith based youth camps not only provide a time of fun and adventure, challenging teens with outdoor experiences, they combine those to grow a teens relationship with God. For many teens, camp is the next step in making Faith their own.
Any amount will help a teen get to camp, here are suggested donations
$150 Sends a teen to Snow Camp for a weekend
$440 Sends a teen to Fair Haven for one week
$880 Sends a teen to Moose River for two weeks
The suggested amounts are above and beyond what teens are expected to contribute as their portion for camp.
Snow Camp
Held every year in February, Faith Youth Ministry takes teens to Blueberry Mountain for a dedicated time of fun and Fellowship. Pastor Gary and his team of dedicated youth volunteers take the time to grow the teens spiritually while all the time engaging them in some winter fun.
Currently Snow Camp costs $200 for the weekend - teens are expected to contribute at least $50.
Fair Haven Campground
Fair Haven Camps is located on beautiful Lake Passagassawakeag in the rolling hills of Maine. We offer an escape from the world, where people can experience God’s creation, make lasting memories, and get closer to the Lord. We strive to provide a rustic camp experience for the purpose of sharing the salvation message of Jesus Christ.
Currently Fair Haven Camp costs $590 for the week - teens are expected to contribute at least $150.
Moose River Outpost
“Seeking Christ. Building Community. Embracing Adventure.” appear on a lot of Moose River Outpost’s printed materials. This is to remind everyone in the MRO family what we are about. We are here to serve Christ and to build stronger relationships with Him. We exist to help campers and guests grow through mentoring relationships. But why, you might ask, is adventure so important?
The truth is that adventure is the gear that spins every other aspect of our ministry into action. Not only is it pure, unadulterated fun each time a group of campers splash down the rapids together in a raft, but it is also an experience that serves our other two goals. Campers that have no prior connections can immediately feel bonded by their shared adventure experiences. Anyone who has ever paddled the Allagash River as an LDP or kayaked the Maine coast with WILD knows this well. At camp, perfect strangers become lifelong friends in a matter of days. These strong bonds allow campers to take their conversations deeper, one campfire at a time. Before you know it, adventure has turned into Christ-centered friendship.
Currently Moose River Outpost costs $1795 for two weeks - Moose River offers all Faith teens a $615 scholarship, teens are expected to contribute at least $300.
